The Trouble With Girls

The year is 1927. The place is Radford Center. Walter Hale (Elvis Presley) is the manager of a traveling tent show, the famous Chatauqua. The citizens are fascinated by the show, because of the entertaining acts and the chance to find distraction from everyday life.

But in a sudden a member of the show is accused of being murderer. Walter Hale is busy in proving the facts, that his friend is innocent. By accident he finds out about the identity of the real delinquent and decides to take inconvenient arrangements.

Elvis looks fantastic and his performances of “Clean Up Your Own Backyard” and “Swing Down Sweet Chariot”  are sweeping. Elvis is making a duet with Marylin Mason on the song “Signs of The Zodiac”, sings the song “Violet” and finally performs the ballad “Almost” at the end of the movie.

Like all the other five recently released movies by Warner Bros. this dvd is a true winner. The pictures quality is excellent and DVD Verdict states that “the transfer accurately recreates the beautiful photography” and judges that “the print used here appears to be very clean. Colors look sharp and lush, and edge enhancement is nil”.

There is a bonus section with the theatrical trailers for the movie “The Trouble With Girls” itself and three other movies, “Spinout”, “Speedway” and “Double Trouble”. All the trailers are presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen.
